H Lignier Gevrey Chambertin Regnard 2022

A lovely wine, with a high-toned strawberry and pomegranate fruit, alongside a distinct mineral note. This is closer in style to Gevrey than to Morey and is made from purchased fruit from this village lieu-dit that lies on the opposite side of the Nationale from Chapelle-Chambertin. The fermentation is done with 30% whole clusters and is aged in 20% new casks.
